a) Care and support for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS

• Providing HIV related counseling and subsequent HIV testing referrals. Clients also avail post test counseling and care and support services.
• Advocating for persons affected by HIV and addressing social stigma and discrimination.
• Referrals for treatment of opportunistic infections to clinics and health centers.
• Make sure that people who are ill at home receive proper care through home visits and home care training.
• Formulating income generation activities.
• Encourage the role of support groups.
• Being part of a non formal volunteer network providing various forms of financial (where required) and non financial support.

b) Care and support for children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS

• Working with children who are affected by HIV/AIDS and orphans and ensuring they have access to education, nutrition and health care.
• Conducting informal programmes and recreational activities for children from poor socio-economic backgrounds who are affected by HIV this includes
• Children affected by HIV/AIDS(where a family member is living with HIV)
• Children who are living with parents who are ill
• Orphans (those whose parents have already died.) and those with single parents (other deceased).
• Children who have HIV/AIDS themselves who need help to be relocated.
