This project aims to economically empower activities, provide critical assistance, enabling individuals or groups to generate income, increase bargaining power, transform that bargaining power into desired actions and outcomes, build a savings base for emergencies, and avoid selling assets that may affect their future livelihood, help people become self-reliant, improved social status, especially for women, and better health and nutrition. In this way, the money provided can make an important contribution to lessen poverty through microfinance, it is a form of retail banking that enables poor but economically active people to boost their earnings and put aside savings.

The result is higher income, greater insurance against risks, improved social status, especially for women, and better health and nutrition. They work alone or employ a small number of people.

The project activities are as under:

1.Micro Finance Loan Facility:

In this facility a loan amount is provided to the applicant who has a genuine reason (starting own business such as Tailoring, Packaging food items, etc). The loan has to be returned in easy repaying installments every month.

2.Income Generation Programme:

The organization has its paper bag project with 2-3 people from the vicinity. The marketing of bags is done through staff and various sources. The organization networks with other paper bag selling retails and receives orders from them to make paper bags as per their requirement. Some persons also make different sized paper bags out of old newspapers on orders from pharmacies.
